How accurate is the speed detection?

posted Apr 17, 2011, 9:37 AM by Phillipp Hodel   [ updated Mar 19, 2013, 5:40 AM ]

The speed is detected by a GPS receiver. after that the speed has to be calculated and visualized.

Its not possible to say, in general, how accurate it is. You need to test on your phone once, to know.

On newer and faster mobile phones the speed detection is more accurate.
On the newest android phones the speed is around your speed a second in the past.
